Baška Voda

Baška Voda is located bellow the Biokovo mountain range, on the  western part of the Makarska riviera. Once a town of fishermen and sailors has been transformed  into a modern tourist destination.

In the year 1936 the first hotel Slaviju was completed and  won the golden medal  for comfort, cooking and wine collection during the 1936 London fare. In the last few years Baška Voda has received the Plavi cvijet award (the highest touristic recognition award that the Republic of Croatia issues).
