Inlay, Onlay, Overlay

Upon removal of caries (tooth decay) and preparation of the tooth, the technician, based on their imprint, produces a ceramic inlay, which is then permanently cemented into the tooth. With the help of inlays, the most optimal strength of the tooth is achieved as well as an enviable aesthetic result. Inlay, onlay and overlay are aesthetic substitutes, which are used in cases where there has been a greater amount of crown damage, where there is not enough tissue required to produce a composite filling and where the tooth damage is not so great to require the production of a tooth crown.
